Our little weekend car trip

Trip to the farm hoping to see puppies & bunnies but we only managed to see puppies.

Movie Mob! They were showing Gulliver's Travel that night and we just sat in the car and munched away.

Picked Douglas & Rackerlyn up before going over to Yello Jello.

Had supper after that at The Roti Prata House and we didn't want to go home yet so off we went to Lower Seletar Reservoir!

The next day, James and I were having brunch at Serangoon and I was having chicken mee goreng when somehow a fish bone got stuck in my throat.

Scared the shit out of me so we went to my company's clinic but they told us to go a&e instead which didn't help to calm me down at all.

Thankfully all was well! Watched a movie in town before going to Changi Coast Rd to see aeroplanes take off after that.

Had dinner at Simpang Bedok then went over to Bob's place to watch the Man U match. And so the weekend just passed like that..

I appreciate the weekends even more so now.

Besides the fact that I only get to see J on the weekends, it's kind of like the only time I really get some proper sleep. The biggest problem is that I don't like sleeping early on the weekdays.

Plus work is getting busier and busier. My working hours are pretty irregular as of now. The latest I ever left the office was as late as 8 plus. Imagine the time I reach home!

But at least the consolation is that I love my job! Hectic as it may be, no job is easy anyway. Plus I have such lovely colleagues that I'm so, so glad and thankful to have.

Going for shopping with momsy tomorrow! I don't even have time for that anymore!

So guess what? It's been a month since I've started work. How time flies huh.

Glad I'm pretty much enjoying it and not dreading work. It turned out to be kind of what I wanted in the first place and I'm happy.

The only problem is sleeping early the night before and waking up for work the next morning.

Just look at the time right now! It's 12AM and here I am still up awake, blogging away.

Or else I'd be watching some shows, on Tumblr, talking to James or just doing something, somehow.

Sigh, I need to learn to sleep early for real! But thankfully Tuesday is a public holiday! There has been so many holidays ever since I started work, totally the right time please.

First day of work..

So here's how my first day at work went..!

8.30am, I arrived at the hr department and was greeted by this;

I was like woa, lol.

So after signing the contract, going through the terms and other paperwork stuffs, I was brought on a little tour around sph. Boy, that place is huge but I guess I'll get used to it.

After everything, I was brought to my department to meet my direct 'boss' and my supervisor (let's call her S) whom are all pretty nice people, thankfully. I must say I am pretty lucky.

S showed me my desk then brought me out for lunch. We had time to kill so we took a train to Clark quay where we met another colleague, E, for lunch. S gave me a welcome treat!

So we walked around for a bit before heading over to meet a few clients at Beach Rd. E drives! So we were spared a little from the crazy scorching sun. No, I'm not doing sales btw. It's called agency servicing but I'm lazy to elaborate so go figure.

It was interesting to see, learn and everything. After all I'm a freshie, totally green and has zero knowledge on this. But my colleagues are really helpful and easy to talk to.

At around 3 plus, 4 we went back to the office. My laptop wasn't ready so I was reading up related stuffs and almost falling asleep actually. Mind you, I only had 3 hours of sleep the night before. Too excited and nervous I think.

Oh and S brought me around to introduce me to the people around in our department. And two other ladies who does the same stuff as me, P and C. Haven't really gotten to know them yet though, so yeap.

Ended work at 6 and I was hella tired man. J didn't come to pick me up after work 'cos he was too tired from camp and he had a bike prac after that, oh well. But anyway I am so looking forward to work on Monday! No Monday blues yet as of now I guess, heh.

Aight, going to watch a movie with the boyfriend now before calling it a night, tata!

Freaking hell! I have been trying to sleep since 12 midnight but up 'til now I am still awake!

This won't do. I am waking up for my first day at work in 4 hours and I don't wanna look listless and all.

Think I'll watch an episode and go back to trying to fall asleep!

I know it's a pretty bad idea because I read somewhere that you shouldn't watch tv before you sleep, but oh well whatever!

And let's just hope my first day of work would go well!

We took the skyride and then we went to Cafe del Mar for drinks and some foooood. Entry to Sentosa and parking fees were crazy please! We hung out at the beach for a bit after that, love the night sight!

We went pretty late but still managed to catch 3 shows! And oh, the boyfriend drove me around for the whole of that day! Hehehehe.

I know, I know. The place is so damn pretty! He past by this place during one of his outfields and brought me here as a little surprise! And boy, I love it. Best of all, we were there just in time for sunset, sweeeeeet!

It's like you can just melt standing there looking at the stunning sight, no kidding! Especially the transition from evening to night when the sky slowly changes colour, lovely. Some sparklers fun next!

It may be simple but it's the most romantic thing ever to me.

We had our dinner date at the place we went to last Valentine's which was also our first date.

It was so nice being there with only one thing changed, and that is we are together now, hehe.

Then we got more wine, sat on the beach, talked and enjoyed the breeze. It was so windy that we gave up lighting candles around but it was fine.

Everything just seemed so lovely. Thank you for the beautiful night.

So ok.. this year is ending in like 8 hours or so.

Well, this year has been kinda crazy.

A lot of things happened. Friendships. Relationship. And just a lot more other stuffs.
