Nearby, a massive star has exploded as a supernova and begun to dissipate its interior into a spectacular display of colorful filaments.
The supernova remnant known as "E0102" is the greenish-blue shell of debris just below the center of the Hubble image. Its name is derived from its cataloged placement (or coordinates) in the celestial sphere. More formally known as 1E0102.2-7219, it is located almost 50 light-years away from the edge of the massive star-forming region, N 76, also known as Henize 1956, in the Small Magellanic Cloud.
Determined to be only about 2,000 years old, young supernova remnants like E0102 allow astronomers to examine material from the cores of massive stars directly. This in turn gives insight on how stars form, their composition and the chemical enrichment of the surrounding area. As well, young remnants are a great learning tool to better understand the physics of supernova explosions.
The Small Magellanic Cloud is a nearby dwarf galaxy to our own Milky Way. It is visible in the Southern Hemisphere, in the direction of the constellation Tucana, and lies roughly 210,000 light-years distant.

It has been the usual routine these few days.
Going to school, coming home, then proceeding to my uncle's wake.
It has been really devastating. And when you see somebody crying, your eyes automatically starts to tear all over again.
Aunty Mary came back from Canada. It was good to see her after so long. Am looking forward to seeing Jennifer and Christine like sooon! Though I don't really know when we can meet up luh.
I gave a speech this evening, some last words kinda thang for the memorial service. It was tough I must say. Not 'bout the crowd, but the emotions triggered. I broke down after saying a mere two sentences T_T
Argh, at least I did it. I can't make it to the funeral tomorrow 'cause I have schoool. I'm already like lagging behind and I haven't even had time to touch my accounting homework and assignment. Goodness @_@ There's like alot of things I have on hand and I want to do. I still have my appointment at Toni & Guy this Thursday and Friday. Then I have to study for my exam on the 23rd because I have loads of catching up to do. So much to do, so little time !

My Dear friend and boss , Jimmy Newton Lim passed away at the age of 40+. I was in my office when I got the SMS from Nina at 3pm. My Life stopped, as I read the SMS over and over again. Not believing it!! I picked up my mobile and called her. IT'S TRUE!!!! HE DIED!!! PASSED AWAY THIS MORNING !!! I can't take it any longer, I broke down and cried in my empty office. Life is so damn Fragile!!! My life crumbled after all these.... is life worth living for?? He is so young!!! How did he die??? Well, I knew he was going for an operation a week back, then back at his Mom's to recuperate. I called several times to check on him. He said he is resting and doing okay. I really didn't expect this to happen to him!!! My Dear Friend Jimmy!!! He is doing so well in his life!!

The last time I saw him was at Orchard. We were at the junction between Cineleisure/Meritus Mandarin and Taka. He was at the opposite side of me but I doubt he could recognise me. I was waiting for the green man to flash so I could walk over and say hi, 'cause it has been a long time since we last met. But sadly, he walked the other direction and before I knew it, he was out of sight... x_x

Secondary school gathering - steamboat ! Wooot.

Last day of May ! And it was spent waking up early in the wee hours, like 6 am?
I was supposed to wake up at 5 am ! But I couldn't -.-

So we registered, got our tshirts and we had to wait for like an hr or so before it really commence.
